Associate acquisition playbook
1. Prospect identification
Every lead must enter the system before or immediately after outreach. Multiple BDAs must not contact the same Associate.
2. Start a human conversation
The first objective is not to sell OBAOL. Send the connection request, introduce yourself after acceptance, understand their business and only then introduce what is relevant.
Supplier
“What products do you currently supply?”
“Which regions do you serve?”
“What volume or buyer profile fits you?”
3. Introduce OBAOL briefly
OBAOL Supreme is a technology-enabled B2B agro and commodity trade execution ecosystem connecting participants such as buyers, suppliers, traders, exporters and execution partners.
Do not overload the Associate. Connect the introduction to the person’s actual role, products and geography.
4. Guide them to the website
You can have a quick look at how the ecosystem works here. Once you've gone through it, I can also arrange a short discussion with our team.
The website makes the BD process scalable: conversation → website → interest or registration → follow-up.
5. Follow up with limits
Understand their business and establish relevance.
Ask whether they reviewed the ecosystem.
Share one relevant reason to continue.
Invite a response, then classify the record.
After the final active follow-up, classify the record as Interested, Not Interested, Follow-up Later or No Response. Do not message indefinitely.
Lead allocation
Allocate by commodity/geography or Associate category. Examples include Spices–India, Grains–India, Middle East Buyers, Exporters, Suppliers or Service Providers. Once contact begins, the same BDA remains the single point of contact until Sales handover.
